I am seeking reliable childcare for my two elementary-aged sons every other weekend as I work on the final stages of my PhD dissertation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience caring for young children, be patient, engaging, and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids.
Schedule & Duties:
Fridays – Pick my sons up from school, help them wind down from the week, prepare dinner, and get them ready for bed. Overnight care is not required on Fridays.
Saturdays – Arrive around 4:00 PM and stay until approximately 9:00 AM Sunday morning. Overnight care may not always be required, but the option to stay will be available for safety reasons if I return home late.
Care will take place in my home in a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage the children in fun, safe, and age-appropriate activities (educational play, games, crafts, etc.)
Prepare light meals and snacks
Assist with homework when needed
Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
Provide school pick-up on Fridays and occasional transportation to activities (car required)
