Full-Time Nanny Job: The Rider Family with 3 Children
Full-time nanny/family assistant for 3 children (including infant). Primary focus is childcare throughout the day, with responsibilities shifting based on schedules. Duties include infant care (feeding, naps, play), helping with younger child during the day, and after-school support for older child. During downtime: kids laundry, tidying play areas/kitchen resets, light meal prep, bottles. Schedule: Mon-Fri 9:00am-4:00 p.m. (35 guaranteed hrs). 1-2x/month, one day shifts later (11:00am-7:00 p.m. or 12:00pm-8:00pm) with notice. Looking for someone proactive, organized, and reliable who takes initiative. Pay: $25-$30/hr + PTO, holidays, guaranteed hours. Occasional optional travel (expenses covered).

We are looking for a nanny for our 6-month-old twins in north Charlotte just south of Huntersville. We have a dog and a cat in the house, which you would not be expected to care for, but you would need to be comfortable with. I work one week on (10hr shifts Tues-Tues) followed by one week off, while my husband works a typical 9a-5p. In an ideal world we would have someone who is willing to work ~8:30-6 M-Fr one week and then part time the following week resulting in around 60-70hrs of work over 2wks. Bottle prep, loading and unloading bottle washer and helping with the boys laundry, would be expected. Huge plus if you have experience with multiples!
We are a smoke free household. Currently not allowing any screen time for our boys. We would expect anyone watching our kids to be up to date on all vaccines including flu. We are not requiring the covid vaccine. Reliability is very important to us so having your own car is a must. Niko is 4 years old and will be starting kindergarten next fall. He is funny and sweet and loves bacon. Landon is 7 and is in the 2nd grade. He loves video games, Cub Scouts, and TaeKwonDo. He is also super sweet. We have 2 very lazy dogs Pooter (11 yr old Bassett Hound) and Elli (16 yr old rescue dog from Hawaii). Care will be needed from 10:30AM when I go to work until 3:30PM when my mother will care for them. Some days will be needed until 5 when my husband gets off (this will be known weeks prior to the extra hours) Landon will need to be picked up and homework done on days where Care is needed until 5PM. The boys are pretty easy going and love their video games. My husband and I both work full time. He is an IT manager and I am a nurse at a pediatric office. We are new to Charlotte after relocating from Tampa, FL this past Septemeber.
