Full-Time Nanny Job: The Madrid Family with 1 Child
We’re looking for a nanny to care for our infant daughter in our home. Right now, our hours are somewhat flexible, but the role is expected to transition into a consistent full-time schedule (Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 36 hours/week) in the coming months.
Currently, some days may end earlier than others, so we’re hoping to find someone who is comfortable with a little variability in the short term and interested in growing into a steady, full-time role with our family.
Our daughter is curious, alert, and loves interaction, play, and going for walks. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys early childhood development and staying engaged throughout the day—talking with her, playing, reading, and helping keep her stimulated and active, which really supports her sleep and overall development.
The role will focus primarily on infant care, along with light household tasks related to the baby (washing bottles, baby laundry, tidying common areas, and light meal prep).
We also have a senior dog who mostly keeps to herself but needs minimal care, such as being let out, having food and water refreshed, and joining for walks with the baby if you’re comfortable.
Key Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, typically between 8:00am–5:00pm
- Hours: Approximately 25–36 hours/week currently, transitioning to consistent 36 hours/week
- Pay: $18–$20/hour depending on experience
- All federal holidays off
Infant care is the primary responsibility
- Light baby-related household tasks only
- Minimal senior dog care (bathroom breaks, food/water, optional walks)
We’re hoping to find someone who is:
- Experienced with infants (strongly preferred)
- Reliable, communicative, and proactive
- Interested in supporting early childhood development
- Comfortable with a flexible schedule in the short term
- Comfortable around dogs
- Spanish speaking is highly desired!
Please reach out if you’re interested — I’d love to connect and share more details.
