My family and I are seeking an experienced, caring and engaging full time nanny for our son to start 11/30/26 when he’ll be 4.5 months old. We need care M-F in Leesburg from 8:30am-4pm plus occasional date nights and will guarantee 35 hrs/week. My husband and I both work from home and our 2.5 year old daughter attends daycare full time.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with infants and is kind, patient and reliable. We’d like for you to actively play, read, and create a fun and safe environment for our son throughout the day. We’d love for you to be creative in how you interact with him through screen-free activities like tummy time, reading aloud, singing, sensory play, and taking him for walks/ exploring outside.
A great fit would be someone who:
- Has experience with infants and can incorporate age-appropriate learning into everyday play
- Is warm, patient, attentive, and dependable
- Enjoys actively playing and interacting rather than simply supervising
- Is comfortable reading books and doing educational/creative activities
- Is comfortable taking him outside for walks/play as he grows
- Can manage all aspects of daily care and routine, including preparing bottles, feeding, changing diapers, laundry, keeping play spaces tidy
- Is a good communicator
- Is looking for a consistent, long-term position with a family
- Is comfortable around a dog

We are looking for part time help, with regular hours between 9AM-3PM or possibly 4pm, Monday through Friday (some flexibility to discuss hours if you need something slightly different). Some light housekeeping would be great - cleaning his play area, his dishes, some easy meal prep (he has little
Spoon meals), etc. - but for the most part the position will mostly be watching the toddler, teaching him, taking him in our backyard to run around (he does love to run), walk around our neighborhood, reading and otherwise keeping him safe.
We are looking to start someone in late October or November through January as a trial. We will have a newborn in the house as well with a zero sick tolerance policy (if you are sick we respectfully would ask you not
to come in and vice versa). If things go well, we would be very interested discussing a long term commitment / help with added responsibility for both our 2 (almost 3 year old a that point) and 4 month old beginning in January, with additional $ and possibly hours.
