Full-Time Nanny Job: The Lily Family with 3 Children
My wife, Lily, works at a local university and I am self-employed. We have three children and just moved back to Minnesota after spending four years in Uganda where Lily was the Peace Corps Country Director. A typical day for the kids includes:
Markos (11) gets himself breakfast, some screen time, then soccer in the yard and playing with his little siblings. He reads a lot, loves chess, can entertain himself, and does not require supervision. He Is also very polite and respectful and follows direction from adults.
Dominic (7) is starting to get his own breakfast. He loves cartoons in the morning when he does not have school, then some crafting for an hour or so and then outside play until lunch. He enjoys play dates with friends and playing with his little sister. Both love to draw and color and play in the yard but he is not interested in sports. Our most recent nanny spent one hour each day with Domi and Maya doing a bit of home-based learning before dinner (practice spelling reading, writing, math, and art about 10 minutes each every day).
Maya is the boss. She is super outspoken and adores Domi and the two spend much of the day telling each other what to do while enjoying being close siblings and friends. She loves having tea parties and coloring and playing with Domi and the occasional playdate.
Maya has not lived in the US before and Dominic barely remembers it (he was 3 when we moved to Uganda) so their routine is a work in progress, probably including swimming, library, parks, and getting to know their new neighborhood (near Summit Ave and Lexington).
Hope you enjoyed learning about our family and to speak soon if you are interested!! Jacob & Lily

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Hodges Family with 1 Child
Looking for a nanny to watch our daughter for a few hours while one parent heads off to work and the other is returning home. It would be from [phone number hidden]pm M-F. We have a beautiful little girl who is 4 months old. She is a relatively mild mannered and happy baby. Enjoys spending a lot of time on the floor on a blanket rolling and looking around. We also have a son but he will be in care during the working hours. We do have a dog, but he is kind and loving, doesn’t need any care from you. Just keeping him in a separate room while baby is on the ground as he can be clumsy and forget she’s there. All in all our family is really looking for a trust worthy, and respectful nanny. We are an interracial couple and hope to find someone open minded, conscious about anti racism who will treat our child with love.
