Babysitter Job: The Jaffe Family with 1 Child
We’re looking for a warm, reliable babysitter to help with our energetic 1.5-year-old son, Cass, for about 2 hours at a time, a few days per week.
We live in a multigenerational household, so family members will often be home, but we’re looking for someone who can take the lead with Cass during those hours — playing with him, reading, taking him outside, giving him a snack or meal, and generally keeping him happy, safe, and engaged.
Cass is very active, curious, and sweet. We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys toddlers and is comfortable with diaper changes, meals/snacks, toddler emotions, and lots of active play.
Schedule: Approximately 2 hours/day, 2–4 days per week. We have some flexibility on days/times and would ideally find someone who can come consistently each week.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced with toddlers around 1–2 years old
Warm, playful, patient, and engaged
Reliable and communicative
Comfortable working in a home where other family members may be around
Able to provide references
CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
This would be a great fit for someone looking for a small, consistent part-time babysitting position rather than a full-time nanny role.
