Part-Time Nanny Job: The Smith Family with 1 Child
North Tacoma
We’re looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced nanny to care for our sweet baby boy in our home. One parent works from home full-time, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working in a collaborative environment while providing independent, attentive care.
Schedule:
* Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Every other Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Approximately 36–40 hours
* Loving, attentive care for one infant
* Bottle feeding, diaper changes, naps, tummy time, reading, and age-appropriate developmental activities
* Baby laundry, bottle washing/sanitizing, and keeping nursery/play areas tidy
* Comfortable following established routines while communicating openly about baby’s day
Qualifications:
* Previous infant experience required
* CPR and First Aid certified preferred
* Non-smoker
* Reliable transportation
* Excellent references
* Comfortable with cats (we have one very friendly, fluffy kitty)

Dad travels roughly 30-50% of the time and mom is more often than not at home. We're looking for in-home care, flexible in a 7-8 hour period on the aforementioned days a week. Our son is busy, loves playing outside and chasing you around the dining room table inside, always wants to read books, and enjoys anything even remotely resembling a car. Especially fire trucks and ambulances. We are pretty laid back as far as parenting goes and lead a child-centered house where we encourage him to talk and learn about his feelings in age-appropriate ways. He usually takes one solo nap a day but occasionally needs some extra comfort via contact napping. No pet care or other housekeeping needed. We're looking for someone interested in staying on long term!
