Im a teacher deciding whether I should stay home or not. I have a 2 month old named Everett. When I go back to work he will be about 6 months old. If I go back I would need child care 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. If I go part time (subbing) I would need similar hours just not everyday of the week. Just getting a feel for my options. We are looking for someone to come to our home 3-5 days a week starting around the first week of February 2025. We are expecting a baby the first week of November 2024.
The thought is that I will be working from home most of the time, with the occasional day in the office (in Findlay). The hours aren't set in stone quite yet but probably 8/8:30 - 4 daily.
Responsibilities will change as he gets older of course, but in the beginning just basic care; feeding, change, playtime and just being a caring loving face for him. We live in a great area with sidewalks for walking and have a fenced in back yard for plenty of outdoor time as weather permits.
Would love someone that is CPR / First Aid certified, but happy to work to get the right person this certification.
