I'm currently looking for a loving, responsible nanny to care for our 5-month-old son, August, who was born prematurely. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with a structured routine and truly enjoys engaging with infants.
Here’s what we are offering:
Guaranteed 24 hours/week pay, even if we only need 20 hours in a given week.
Half-pay if we are away for a week or more (we are not from Gainesville and travel occasionally).
4 paid days off after your first month with us—just need two weeks' notice.
$0.30/mile reimbursement if you're comfortable driving August to approved outings (e.g., library, stroller walks, etc.).
What we’re looking for from you:
Follow a consistent daily schedule (which we will provide and discuss together).
Do baby’s laundry once a week.
Provide a mix of interactive play and independent play time.
Be open to walks or library outings, depending on your comfort level.

We would like to start only two days per week, 4 hours per day that can go from 1 pm to 6 pm, but with the option to increase the number of days in the near future. We appreciate flexibility with days and times. We would like the nanny to put her to sleep during her naps in the afternoons and play with her while she is awake.
