A little bit about us

We are a warm, loving family looking for an experienced, nurturing nanny to care for our two children (ages 4½ and 1½). We are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with young children, encourages their development through play and exploration, and will become an important part of our family's routine.
Typical Schedule
* Monday-Friday
* Arrive at house for house manager tasks at 12 PM*
* Pick up from daycare at 2:30 PM
* Care for them until 6PM
*House management responsibilities are optional.

Our ideal nanny is:
* Experienced caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
* Warm, patient, energetic, and dependable
* Focused on creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children can learn and grow
* Creative and proactive about planning fun activities, crafts, outings, and imaginative play
* Comfortable taking the children to parks, libraries, museums, classes, or other local activities
* Committed to a screen-free environment during working hours
* A safe, confident driver with a clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle (we will provide car seats)
* Comfortable around two small dogs

The most important part of this role is providing excellent care for our children. We want someone who enjoys getting down on the floor to play, reading books, doing art or science projects, encouraging curiosity, spending time outdoors, and helping our children continue to develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

For someone interested in a larger role, we can add family assistant responsibilities such as:

* Family laundry
* Loading/unloading the dishwasher or doing dishes
* Light household organization and tidying
* Running occasional errands
* Walking the dogs
* etc.
These responsibilities are optional and would be discussed based on your interest.

Ideal start date is September, but flexible for the right fit.
