Part-Time Nanny Job: The Boyd Family with 2 Children

My husband and I are new to the Hartford area. We are looking for some help for me as I’m a SAHM to our two children (and pregnant with #3!). We’d mostly be looking for help on weekday mornings so that I could work out, catch up on household chores, and pick up our son from preschool without having to wake our daughter from her nap. Weekdays I’d most likely be home the majority of the time but we are also looking for a sitter who’d be willing to watch the kids in the evenings so that my husband and I could go on dates occasionally.

Our eldest is Fritz. He’s 3 years old. A bit shy at first but so sweet. He is obsessed with trucks, helping his dad work on projects, and playing with his tractors, trucks and Magnatiles. He’s very curious and loved to figure out how things work.

Claire or “Sissy” is our 17 month old. She’s affectionate, active, an excellent communicator and has big opinions. Claire wants to do everything her big brother does regardless of if she’s big enough to try. She adores all animals and feeding the barn cats is one of her top activities.

We live on some land and the children love to be outside exploring, playing with their toys (our son could dig with his trucks for hours on end) or throwing sticks into the woods haha. We do not typically use screen time so our ideal sitter would be up for lots of reading, sensory play, or just following the kid’s lead in whatever game/activity they’ve invented that day.

We have two dogs- one large breed, one small- that love to be part of the action. We don’t expect you to do a lot of explicit pet care but if the dogs are asking to go out or you’re sitting over their meal time if that could be covered that would be appreciated. Our house is your house while you’re here. Sitters can of course help themselves to whatever food/drink they’d like. Thank you so much for looking at our profile and we look forward to meeting you!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Winkler Family with 1 Child

Hi! Elizabeth and I are the proud parents of little Emma. We're not at the point where one of us can quit working, so are in search of a nanny to help. We both do work from home, so are thinking we'd need someone part time/4-5 hours a day.
Emma has had a rough go with tongue/lip tie procedures as well as reflux, but is re-learning how to take bottles and should be fully back on track in two weeks or so. Her reflux is managed and slowly improving as well.

We'd ultimately need assistance with feeding, keeping her upright post feed for 30 minutes, and then putting her down for her naps.
Pretty simple stuff, but neither one of us can afford to lose our jobs at the moment and we want Emma to be in good hands for the part of the day we need to be in meetings, etc.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Gehrke Family with 1 Child

Hello!
My husband is a line man at WE Energies, and I am a dental consultant. We both work full time, and are struggling to find a full time day care provider. We are expecting this fall and are looking for a nanny that has experience with newborns. This would be for full time care starting January 2024, with some flexibility as I work from home part time. We are open to having the nanny in home, or dropping off anywhere within reasonable distance. We have a cute dog named Olive who is extremely friendly with children and visitors.
