We are seeking an energetic, dependable nanny to assist in caring for our 10-year old son and 9-year-old daughter. Our daughter has 1p36 Deletion Syndrome, which causes both physical and cognitive disabilities. She is non-verbal and her care needs are similar to that of a toddler.
We are looking to schedule 15 to 30 hours per week of care while the kids are in school. There are more hours available over school breaks and during the summer. Hours can be flexible but after-school care and weekly dates nights are a priority. Occasional weekend help, before-school care, and overnights are also an option.
Job responsibilities:
Dressing, bathing, diapering, feeding, and ensuring the safety of our daughter
Maintaining our daily schedule for the children
Transporting the children to appointments and extracurricular activities
Assisting with light housekeeping tasks related to our daughter, such as tidying up after play or meals
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay is $20-$30/hr based on experience
If you use your own car, we will reimburse mileage to cover gas and wear on the car. If you use our car, we will provide money for gas.
We offer 2-weeks paid vacation
