I'm looking for a full-time nanny/mother’s helper Mon-Fri, 8-5, guaranteed hours, paid vacation and sick pay. I have 3 easy, well-behaved kids (but they are still kids, so there’s that 🤣), 2.75, 6, and 9. My husband and I work from home (I only work part-time in the mornings), and I homeschool my kids. I’m not looking for a traditional nanny who entertains the kids all day. The 6 and 9 year old are very creative and entertain themselves, and the 2.75 year old plays well on his own too, though does need some engagement. But I don’t want my kids entertained all day because that ruins creativity and teaches them that someone should always be entertaining them. I do want someone who can kindly help direct them to do their chores and make it fun. I don’t want someone constantly cleaning up after them, but instead directs them to clean up after themselves. I also need help, while the kids are off being creative on their own, with prepping meals for them, tidying up the house, dishes, laundry, and bonus if you can cook dinner while I homeschool the kids or take them out of the house, or sometimes let the kids help. The two older girls have dance classes most afternoons, so won’t always be home after 3:15. We prefer very strong English-speaking, CPR certified, happy/positive energy, flexibility/easy-going (we aren’t great with rigid schedules). We are happy, easy-going, and practice positive parenting (not spineless parenting, just kind parenting with boundaries). We’re looking for someone who is on-time and reliable.
