* A proactive approach to development, with daily play and stimulation suited to each baby’s age and milestones, and a good understanding of how each twin is progressing
* A warm, nurturing and patient personality who creates a calm, secure environment for the babies
* Consistency and structure, with reliable routines for feeding, naps and play, while staying flexible as the twins grow
* Open, honest communication, including daily updates and a collaborative approach with us as parents
* Respect for our parenting choices, with a willingness to follow our guidance and share ideas
* Reliability, good judgment and a calm manner under pressure

Other responsibilities: Light cooking and snack prep (for the toddler), assist mom with bath time and other daily activities. You will not be expected to clean, but light pick up of toys expected (with toddlers help of course!). I am big proponent of child directed play and open ended toys. For example, if the baby is staring at a tree in the yard or playing with 1 toy for a long time I won’t interrupt and let them be in the moment. Looking for someone who can find a balance between engaging with the kids and stepping back and allowing them to play independently. The kids love being outside in our yard. No screen time for kids.
