The right candidate will be very confident and capable, and able to help the girl’s transition from after school actives, for example homework to tv time to reading to free time.
You would be able to meet the girls at the bus stop and walk 1/8th mile home. You would also be able to put a healthy snack together for the girls, and help them keep their activity areas tidy.

A little bit about us
My 6-year-old needs to be shown on and off the bus, Tuesday through Thursday, every week. Then cared for until we come home around 7:00pm, including homework and dinner.
No one will need to be at the home between, while the two are at school. There will also be a dog that needs to be let out, once in the morning and once in the evening. There will be 4 cats that are very loving, roaming around and will not need anything but pets!
The boy is Jack and will be starting kindergarten on August 22. The girl is Mia and she will be in preschool. They are both very talkative and energetic.
I am a travel nurse and work Tuesday through Thursday in Reston, VA. My boyfriend is a store manager at Midas and works weekdays 7am-7pm.
Expectations include preparing dinner and washing dishes. No other house work is required.

How to Interview for After-School Nanny Jobs
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:
- What time is school pickup, and which days do you need care?
- Will I drive, and is a car seat or vehicle provided?
- How do you handle early dismissals and school holidays?
- What are the children's activities and routines?
- Is dinner or light housekeeping part of the job?
