We just moved back and are looking for a part-time nanny for our girls. If you know anyone who may be interested, please let me know! ♥️
Currently Seeking:
* Part-Time Nanny for my two daughters (ages 1 & 9)
* M-F 2:30-5:30pm (some days may be 6:30 at the very latest when I can’t leave work right at 5:00. I will communicate as much in advance as possible but will ask for some flexibility on that end).
* I’m REALLY hoping for flexibility for full time care on days of school closures / sick child care (if you can’t do the consistent care, I would be so thankful to you for reaching out for as needed care in the future if interested!)
* Transportation from school/daycare to my home on base, homework help, prep for school/daycare the next day
* No 🚭 please - Reliability is desperately needed - and both of my girls have to ride in the back seat of the vehicle😅
* Must be comfortable with nanny cams and dogs
* Must be comfortable interacting with and engaging with my girls. I’m really not looking for someone to sit them in front of the TV and scroll fb the entire time. I want them to have fun and to get quality attention from you!😊
* Must have clean background check / reliable vehicle / clean driving record / references
* Pay $20/hour for regular scheduled after school care & school closures /holidays
* Rate increases to $25/hour for on-call sick care or after hours care for work meetings
Details:
I'm looking for care for my girls for the afternoons and school pickups in Chugiak and Eagle River (my 9 year old goes to school in Chugiak & my 1 year old goes to daycare in ER). I am hoping to find someone who can break up their day so they aren't in daycare / at school for so long during the workweek and someone that can pick them up from school and bring them to our home on base.
I also do have occasional later hours meetings and when the girls are sick or there are school closures for holidays / road conditions, I'm hoping to start care ASAP

The hours we need are Friday and Saturday 11 am to 9pm (sometimes only 7 pm), Sunday 2-3 hours some point in the day, Monday and Tuesday 6am- 2pm. One week a month we need overnight and daytime care Sunday and Monday night 930pm to 1pm. The children sleep through the night, and once we return from work we are hoping to find someone to watch the children so we can sleep. We also have a very friendly happy 5 year old black lab named Nova. We currently don’t need anyone to drive the children anywhere, but are open to the possibility for outings.
Both children sleep well. Our son currently sleeps from 830pm to 7or 8 am and naps around 2 pm for 1-2 hours.
Our daughter sleeps from 730/8pm 7/730am. She takes two naps a day, typically 10 am and 3 pm.
