A little bit about us
Experience caring for multiple children is important to us, as we plan to have more kids in the future. Our home is structured and Montessori-leaning, focused on hands-on engagement, independence, and a low-distraction environment. That means no screen time and no phone use during working hours outside of emergencies.
Mom works from home and will be present, so we need someone comfortable with that dynamic who can still take initiative and confidently manage the day.
We value consistency, reliability, and someone who is calm, attentive, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
We need help Tuesday - Thursday from 8-5. Most weeks we will need help either Monday or Friday from 8-3.
We also have two nights per month set aside for date night and would have an additional 8-12 hours per month.
We focus on Montessori hands on learning. We do not expose our son to screen time and expect full attention with no distractions or use of phones (aside from emergencies). Responsibilities include light house work related to the child along with supervision during swimming.
This is a long term opportunity and we will have more children in the near future.
