A little bit about us

Hello!

My name is Ashly, and I’m mom to Calvin, who will be two in August.

I’m a writer who works in marketing for a tech company, and my husband, Kevin, is an architect at a local firm. We also have a 2-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog who is a gentle giant.

We live in the Mapleton Fall-Creek area of downtown Indianapolis, a couple of minutes away from The Children’s Museum.

We’re looking for someone to work 35 hours per week from Monday-Friday, with Friday being a half-day (3 hours on Friday morning).

I work from home most days, and my husband works from home a couple of days a week, but during the workday, we’ll be in our home offices.

Calvin is not currently in daycare or school, so there won’t be any pick-ups or drop-offs.

We look forward to chatting!

A little bit about us

I am a full time faculty member at a local university, therefore, my schedule has a lot of flexibility but I am looking to have a set guarantee rate for my potential nanny. I am currently expecting a child in late July and will also have a 1.5 year old son. My 4 year old son will be in full time preschool, therefore, he will be minimally present, if at all, due to his school schedule. At this time, my 4 year old does have a language delay, however this is being addressed at his preschool and would not be the responsibility of the nanny. This position would have no need to cook or clean, as I would want the provider to be focus on caring and engaging with the children. It is my hope that our children be on a semi-structured schedule to help them learn and develop expectations of the day and engage in several different activities throughout the day. I am very interested in nanny sharing. We do have 2 Small dogs, however, if you are not comfortable, we can secure them during the day to ensure your comfort.
