A little bit about us

My name is Veronica, I have an almost 2 year old little boy. I am looking for someone to be home with him 3-4 days a week in the begging for two weeks out of the month. He is with his dad 1/2 time and so I will only need a nanny for the two consecutive weeks he is with me. I work from 8:00AM to 5:00PM and will be coming home for a half hour for lunch so you will be able to have that 30 minutes as a lunch as well. I was a stay at home mom until now he has never attended daycare or had a nanny previously. He is a very sweet, goofy, intelligent little boy, he is showing signs of advanced physical and mental development (according to his doctor). He is not potty trained yet. I am looking for someone who will keep him stimulated and work not just on formal education but also life skills and manners. He naps once a day for an average of 2- 2 1/2 hours a day. I will have his meals and snacks prepped ahead of time, so unless it is for fun there will be no need to cooking. The house will be kept clean prior to your arrival with hopes that it will be in a similar state when I get home. Ideally I will need you here from 7:40AM-5:20PM to allow me to get to and from work with drive time. We do have 1 dog and 2 cats in the home, they are very friendly and the dog is quite old and needs very little, the cats will need nothing but they may ask for love. My expectation are: feeding and napping at his scheduled times, and to maintain the house where my son will play (he pretty much sticks to the living room), helping him pick up his toys (he knows where they belong) and loves to listen to music while doing our “5 min. pick ups”. We have a back yard that he loves to play in. We also have a park that is a 10 minute walk from the house that we talk to often, he walks not rides in a stroller. This position will be long term, but will turn part time when I start to work from home a day or two a week.
