A little bit about us

Looking for someone who is able to consistently watch our kiddos Wednesday evenings from around 5:15pm-9:30/10pm. We are also looking for additional date night help as well! We have two kids a 4.5 Y/O boy and a 2.5 Y/O girl. Wednesdays would consist of you getting both kiddos ready for bed around 6:30/6:45 (getting pjs on, brushing teeth) and putting them down. My daughter is the easiest to put down! You just lay her in bed and turn her hatch on and close the door behind you. My son is also easy but you might have to get on to him a couple of times but he will eventually fall asleep in his own as well. We do have 3 dogs. Two large goldendoodles who are extremely sweet and a 6mo old Great Pyrenees puppy. We can put them away if you prefer while you are at our house or you can let them out! We just ask that when you are putting the kids down that our puppy be put away so she doesn’t make any bad decisions. After that you can just hang out, watch tv and just be there incase something happens. We are offering $10/ hr for a minimum of $200/ month and like I said with occasional date nights as well or if we need a sitter. Please let me know if you are interested!

Types of Nanny Jobs and Nanny Responsibilities in Oklahoma

Before you start looking for a nanny job, it's essential to learn about the different types of nannies and how they compare to each other so that you make sure you’re looking for the right opportunities.

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to make sure your expectations are aligned with the family.

There are temporary nanny jobs, even seasonal nanny jobs like summer nanny jobs. Beyond seasonal and temporary nanny positions, there are differences between full-time and part-time nanny jobs. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Oklahoma. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. If you're looking to explore live in nanny positions, it's even more important to create a shared set of expectations around hours, responsibilities, and what is expected of you when you're not on the clock.

  • What do you think children like best about you?

  • How do you handle problems that arise behaviorally and emotionally with kids this age?
