We’re seeking a part-time to assist with out one year old. We can guarantee at least 20 hours per week. The nanny must be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 10am-4pm OR 1:00pm-6:00pm.
We’re looking for someone with good energy, that’s reliable and great with babies. You must be mobile as our child is very active in this phase of her life. & Be able to plan learning activities.
The nanny will also be responsible for light housework (cleaning behind baby & light cooking).
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 6 MONTHS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE. MUST HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE.
Responsibilities:
Providing child care assistance including playtime, rocking our baby to sleep, changing diapers, cleaning up after baby, ensuring she gets nursed by her mother.
Educating the baby, planned / engaging activities and games, and taking her to the park / on walks.
Light housekeeping and house support, including wiping surfaces, loading and unloading dishwasher, preparing simple meals for lunch and dinner, putting away groceries, etc.
Helping us manage the chaos of a one year old. : )
Requirements:
Passion for babies
Own vehicle, driver license, and auto insurance
Proven track record of being reliable and trustworthy
18 years old or older
Available during normal working hours at least four days a week
Experience being around infants (i.e., babysitting or a child who lived in your household).
At least 1 year of early childhood experience and child development training (preferred)
Have received the Covid vaccine and/or willing to be tested twice per week
Already CPR certified for infants or willing to become certified (we can assist with this for the right candidate).
Authorization to work in the United States
Clean record and able to pass a background check
Ability to provide professional and personal references
