Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to a medically fragile, ventilator, and bedridden child.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and guidelines.
- Perform basic first aid and respond to emergencies or situations as necessary.
- Collaborate with social activities.
- Take it to appointments or outings as needed.
- Assist with activities of daily living: daily showers, help with dressing, help with grooming/hygiene, feeding (meal preparation), and laundry.
- The child is on ventilator and he can remove the trach tube or the circuit unconsciously and is Unaware of Danger, he cannot be unsupervised at any time.
2nd position
Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to disabled girls with mobility problems.
- Perform basic first aid and respond to emergencies.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and guidelines.
- Collaborate with social activities and provide emotional support.
- Take it to appointments or outings as needed.
- Assist with activities of daily living: daily showers, help with dressing, help with grooming/hygiene, feeding (meal preparation), and laundry.
- The child is Unaware of Danger, she cannot be unsupervised at any time.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to pass cheek swab drug testing and random drug testing throughout employment.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Speak, write and read Spanish perfectly.
- Wear a mask at all times and do not remove it under any circumstances.
-You must be vaccinated against Covid with all appropriate boosters.
-Non-Smoker
- Must have the ability to lift the child when necessary. (60 pounds up)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide emotional support.
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable vehicle for transportation.
Pay is set by the state at $12.70 per hour. Up to 40 hours per week.
