A little bit about me
My name is Amaya or Maya if you care to drop the vowel. I started looking after little ones when I was a little one myself; at the ripe age of 10, I began caring for my younger cousins and family friends for date nights and late-night shifts. Before then I had been swimming competitively and really loved the molecules I was immersed in, I decided I want to pass that love of mine onto everyone so I started swim lessons via my backyard pool. A few years later I legitimized my services and became a certified lifeguard. I went on to lifeguard and teach swim lessons in numerous settings around the Bay Area. I am as nurturing as it gets and I love to explore nature. Working with kids has always been my favorite, I live for their excitement and to see their bewilderment at the world in front of us, It is so beautiful to watch the future grow and learn right in the splash zone. With all that said, I would love to get to know you all and be a helpful addition to your family's team!

A little bit about me
My name Serenity, I am a college student who personally loves kids (especially nice ones lol!) and would like to help out as a nanny! I have lots of experience as I am the oldest sister which I believe is the best experience you could have. I was looking for a normal job, but if somebody would like me to work for them then I could arrange for it to be my main job as it would help the both of us out! I can take the kids to the park, make them food, help them with homework, play with them.. really anything you would like for me to do with them. I also know how to cook, which I wouldn't mind doing but the least I ask for is to consider these things you ask of me in how much you offer to pay ! I can handle up to 3/4 kids depending on their ages, just let me know what type of child they are! I am looking forward to meeting a lucky family!
Have a good day!

I have a valid driver's license, my own car, a clean background record, and impeccable references from previous families. I have a certificate of completion for First Aid and CPR, with plans to become fully certified in the near future.
With over 15 years of experience in child care, I am capable of assisting with all child-related duties, including meal preparation, cleaning, and tidying up. I have extensive experience in bottle feeding, sleep training, potty training, feeding training, and taking children out to parks, events, and libraries.
My hourly rate is between $25 and $35, which can be negotiated depending on responsibilities. I prefer cash or check payments.

Understand Babysitter Responsibilities in Vallejo, CA
Before beginning the search for a babysitter, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a babysitter is the right choice for your child care needs. There are lots of benefits to hiring a babysitter such as getting the flexibility of having some more time for yourself or with your partner. When hiring a babysitter, first, you should explore the differences between a nanny and a babysitter. If you’re looking for occasional child care, babysitters are the right choice for you, but if you’re looking for more frequent care, a nanny may be better for your needs.
From there, you can think about what you expect your babysitter to handle so that you can create a profile for nannies to reach out to you. The boundaries for babysitters’ duties can vary from family to family. However, in general, a babysitter is responsible for making sure your kids’ needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example to housekeeping, laundry, or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your babysitter before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location in Vallejo can impact how much you pay your babysitter.
Vallejo Babysitter Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective babysitters, the next step is to conduct an interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some babysitter interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a babysitter?
- What sort of household tasks are you open and comfortable doing?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in California?
- Do you have a California driver’s license? Do you own a car?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a babysitter that you’re considering hiring, make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your babysitter. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around babysitter responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming!
And of course, as you learn how to hire a babysitter, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
