I have also been a caretaker to my father in law who had Alzheimer’s. I cooked for him, helped him to the bathroom, provided medicine.
I come from a really big family ! I’m a very family-oriented person. Family is top priority in my life. I am bilingual. I speak both English and Spanish fluently. Fitness and Health are crucial to me. I have a background in Fitness as I am a NASM certified personal trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach.
I understand food allergies, as I am someone who has a severe peanut and dairy allergy. I know how to use epi-pens.

A little bit about me
Back home, I did a 3-year apprenticeship to become a daycare educator and graduated. In those 3 years I worked with children from 1 year to 4 years old.
After graduation I started working in a daycare for one year.
From 2022 to 2024 I was an au pair in U.S and worked and lived with a family and took care of two children (boy now 7 years old and the girl is 5 years old). Through this experience, I was able to fully experience the life of a parent and better understand children's all-around behavior. Above all, I was able to gain more knowledge of the English language. As a returned home, I worked in a daycare from February until July of 2024 and I did babysit for a family.
I do speak five languages: Italian, Portuguese, English, French, German and a bit of Spanish.
I can describe myself as a creative, responsible, passionate and patient person.

How to Hire a Bilingual Nanny in Chicago, IL
Nanny Lane helps you find a bilingual nanny in Chicago, IL who can care for your children in more than one language.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Bilingual Nanny?
A bilingual nanny speaks English and at least one other language, such as Spanish, French, Mandarin, or Portuguese, and uses both with the children. Some families want a native speaker to introduce a second language from an early age, and others need a nanny who can communicate with a relative or care for a child who speaks another language at home.
Common Responsibilities of Bilingual Nannies in Chicago, IL
A bilingual nanny handles the usual childcare tasks, such as meals, play, outings, and routines, while speaking the second language during everyday activities. Many also read stories, sing songs, and play games in that language, so children pick it up naturally rather than from flashcards.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Decide how much of the day you want in the second language and how fluent the nanny needs to be. Ask about their background in the language and any experience helping children learn it. Fluency varies, so it helps to have part of the interview in the language. If you need a specific language, mention it in your job description so nannies can find you.
Bilingual Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which languages do you speak, and how did you learn them?
- How would you use the second language with my children during the day?
- Have you helped children learn or keep up a second language before?
- Are you comfortable speaking only in that language for part of the day?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
