A little bit about me

Hii! My name is Daniela and I am looking for a babysitting job near me! I am 17 years old soon to be a high school graduate in 4 days and need a job for the summer. I am CPR & AED certified and have babysat a few kids before so I would say I have pretty good experience with ages ranging from a few months old to about 5 years old. I speak English and Spanish fluently and I love being around kids! I would prefer to baby sit from 3 p.m. and later times sometimes during the weekends I would be available to work earlier but due to my mom’s work schedule I can’t be sure I would be able to during the early morning hours. I myself do not have my license but I am able to get to places with my mom driving me. Please feel free to reach out I really need a job and I would love to hear from anyone!

A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Emely, I’m 19 years old, and I’ve always had a special love for caring for babies and toddlers. I have 4 years of experience babysitting my nieces and nephews, which taught me how to be nurturing, patient, and attentive—especially with little ones. I enjoy creating a safe, comforting environment and love helping with things like feeding, playtime, and naptime routines. I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish, which helps me connect with a variety of families. I’m excited to work with parents who need someone they can truly trust with their little ones.

How to Hire a Bilingual Nanny in Clinton, NC

Nanny Lane helps you find a bilingual nanny in Clinton, NC who can care for your children in more than one language.

We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.

What Is a Bilingual Nanny?

A bilingual nanny speaks English and at least one other language, such as Spanish, French, Mandarin, or Portuguese, and uses both with the children. Some families want a native speaker to introduce a second language from an early age, and others need a nanny who can communicate with a relative or care for a child who speaks another language at home.

Common Responsibilities of Bilingual Nannies in Clinton, NC

A bilingual nanny handles the usual childcare tasks, such as meals, play, outings, and routines, while speaking the second language during everyday activities. Many also read stories, sing songs, and play games in that language, so children pick it up naturally rather than from flashcards.

What to Consider Before You Hire

Decide how much of the day you want in the second language and how fluent the nanny needs to be. Ask about their background in the language and any experience helping children learn it. Fluency varies, so it helps to have part of the interview in the language. If you need a specific language, mention it in your job description so nannies can find you.

Bilingual Nanny Interview Questions

Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:

  • Which languages do you speak, and how did you learn them?
  • How would you use the second language with my children during the day?
  • Have you helped children learn or keep up a second language before?
  • Are you comfortable speaking only in that language for part of the day?
  • Are you trained in First Aid or CPR?

At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
