A little bit about us
We are looking for a loving, reliable, patient, and experienced nanny to care for our 5 month old identical twin boys, Luca and Nico, in our home in Verona, NJ.
Main schedule:
Monday–Friday, approximately 8AM–5PM.
We may also need occasional evening care while we play volleyball, usually Monday and Wednesday from approximately 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM–12:00 AM max depending on how long we play. We would always schedule this ahead of time and never need care past midnight.
Occasional weekend/date-night sitting may also be needed with advance notice.
Responsibilities:
* Full care of both babies
* Bottles, burping, diaper changes
* Following their feeding, nap, and bedtime routines
* Keeping them on a coordinated feeding schedule
* Tummy time, floor play, reading, singing, and age-appropriate developmental activities
* Encouraging milestones as they grow
* Washing/preparing their bottles
* Communicating with us about feeds, naps, diapers, mood, and anything unusual
* Light housekeeping
We also have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle named Mylo. No pet care or dog walking is required, but we want someone comfortable having him around and naturally including him in the twins’ day when appropriate.
We are looking for someone with strong infant experience who can confidently care for two babies independently. Twin/multiple experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification, reliable transportation, and good communication are important.
Spanish is a big plus. We would love someone who can speak Spanish with the babies regularly, as we want Spanish to be their first language.
Location: Verona, NJ
Hours: M–F, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
Occasional weekend and weekday nights
If interested, please message me with your experience, availability, references, CPR status, transportation, and desired hourly rate. 🤍

How to Find Bilingual Nanny Jobs in New Jersey
Nanny Lane connects you with families in New Jersey who are looking for a bilingual nanny. Create a profile that lists the languages you speak and start connecting with families that need them.
You create your profile and connect with families that meet your needs. Then, as you meet with families, you can discuss and finalize details around cost and responsibilities. Learn more about nanny responsibilities.
What Are Bilingual Nanny Jobs?
Bilingual nanny jobs are positions where speaking a second language is a valued part of the role. Families may want their children to learn a language, keep up a language spoken at home, or communicate with a grandparent or relative. Your language skills can set you apart from other candidates and may support a higher rate.
Types of Bilingual Nanny Jobs and Responsibilities
Some families want you to speak only the second language with the children, and others want a mix throughout the day. Responsibilities can include childcare, meals, activities, and reading and playing in the second language. Jobs can be full-time, part-time, or live-in, so check the schedule and expectations in each posting.
How to Interview for Bilingual Nanny Jobs
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:
- Which language do you want me to use, and how often?
- How fluent do you expect me to be?
- Do the children already speak the language?
- Are there other adults in the home who speak it?
- Is language teaching part of the role, or just everyday conversation?
Beyond asking these questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative. The nanny job interview is an excellent opportunity to get aligned on the nanny job expectations. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
