A little bit about us

Hi! We are working on hiring for one day a week if you are interested in very part-time or need one additional day of work (either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday around 9-6:30). We have a boy who will be 6 months; he is already high energy, curious, happy, and very social. We would love for someone to come into our home and treat him lovingly, as well as give him attention to enhance his social and cognitive development. We believe in expanding our little’s worldview early, so love the idea of another language spoken to him. If you have any specific questions, let me know!

A little bit about us

Seeking a part time nanny for our 4m and 2 year old boys. We train horses professionally which may require a flexible schedule. This may consist of traveling to shows with us, early mornings/late nights (midst of summer we start early and get done early). If everything goes well we would consider a full time position at that point, so if you are interested in the position please be willing to go full time! We would love to have someone be part of our family and love our boys just as if they were your own! The pay will definitely be there and is negotiable! I prefer to speak to each individual to find a common ground to meet each other’s needs!!
We are a VERY easy going family but we would like this individual to be able to cook, occasional running to town for misc groceries, pick up toys and whatever else there is throughout the day. We prefer to not walk in the door to a complete disaster but we understand it gets crazy! You’re welcome to do laundry but not a requirement 🤣
Qualifications:
-A reliable vehicle! (For commute to and from work. Working hours you could use one of our vehicles)
-CPR/first aid (not required but preferred)
-EXPERIENCE with baby’s and toddlers is a MUST.
-Would prefer to have an adult(grandmother type) but open to all!
-would LOVE to have someone fluent in Spanish. Speaking English would be nice but we know some Spanish so as long as you understand us.

Again, this may not be a 9-5. Hours and days might vary. Full time can be discussed(live-in can be discussed!) We WILL take care of you, if YOU take care of us♥️

How to Find Bilingual Nanny Jobs in Waxahachie, TX

Nanny Lane connects you with families in Waxahachie, TX who are looking for a bilingual nanny. Create a profile that lists the languages you speak and start connecting with families that need them.

You create your profile and connect with families that meet your needs. Then, as you meet with families, you can discuss and finalize details around cost and responsibilities. Learn more about nanny responsibilities.

What Are Bilingual Nanny Jobs?

Bilingual nanny jobs are positions where speaking a second language is a valued part of the role. Families may want their children to learn a language, keep up a language spoken at home, or communicate with a grandparent or relative. Your language skills can set you apart from other candidates and may support a higher rate.

Types of Bilingual Nanny Jobs and Responsibilities

Some families want you to speak only the second language with the children, and others want a mix throughout the day. Responsibilities can include childcare, meals, activities, and reading and playing in the second language. Jobs can be full-time, part-time, or live-in, so check the schedule and expectations in each posting.

How to Interview for Bilingual Nanny Jobs

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:

  • Which language do you want me to use, and how often?
  • How fluent do you expect me to be?
  • Do the children already speak the language?
  • Are there other adults in the home who speak it?
  • Is language teaching part of the role, or just everyday conversation?

Beyond asking these questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative. The nanny job interview is an excellent opportunity to get aligned on the nanny job expectations. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
