A little bit about us
We're a warm, busy family looking for a caring, reliable nanny to join us 3 days a week.
**The Role**
- Care for our 4-month-old baby, and at times our 3-year-old
- Pick up our 3-year-old from daycare and care for him and baby for about 1 hour in the afternoons
- Speakonly Spanish and engage in a lesson with 3yr old preferred!
- 3 days a week (days and exact times to be discussed)
**Language**
We're raising our children bilingual and would love a nanny who speaks to them mostly in Spanish. Fluent or native Spanish speakers are strongly preferred.
**What We're Looking For**
- Someone nurturing, patient, and engaged who loves interacting with little ones
- Experience with infants (CPR/First Aid certification is a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with daycare pick-up
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record, if driving is needed for pickup
**Light Housekeeping**
Our main priority is that the kids have someone to play with and care for them. Light help is welcome, such as folding laundry, organizing toys, and washing baby bottles and dishes.
**Our Home**
We have a great indoor play space and a lovely outdoor area, perfect for playtime, sensory activities, and fresh air. My husband and I also work from home at times, so we're nearby for support whenever you need us.
If this fits your schedule and interest, please reach out. We'd love to chat and see if we're a good match!

What Are Bilingual Nanny Jobs?
Bilingual nanny jobs are positions where speaking a second language is a valued part of the role. Families may want their children to learn a language, keep up a language spoken at home, or communicate with a grandparent or relative. Your language skills can set you apart from other candidates and may support a higher rate.
Types of Bilingual Nanny Jobs and Responsibilities
Some families want you to speak only the second language with the children, and others want a mix throughout the day. Responsibilities can include childcare, meals, activities, and reading and playing in the second language. Jobs can be full-time, part-time, or live-in, so check the schedule and expectations in each posting.
How to Interview for Bilingual Nanny Jobs
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:
- Which language do you want me to use, and how often?
- How fluent do you expect me to be?
- Do the children already speak the language?
- Are there other adults in the home who speak it?
- Is language teaching part of the role, or just everyday conversation?
Beyond asking these questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative. The nanny job interview is an excellent opportunity to get aligned on the nanny job expectations. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
