I have worked at a daycare taking care of as many as 4 children at a time ages infant to 6 years old. I was also a nanny for a family with 2 children for 2 and a half years the children were 8 and 10 years old. I arrived at their house at 3am, I got them ready for school, fed them, made sure they got on their bus. I also arrived at their house at 3pm, got them off the bus, fed them, took them to any activities they had, helped with homework, got them ready for bed. I have also had sole charge of 2 month old for 3 months from 5am to 5pm. I also have experience working for a family with 5 children age 12 to 2 years old. I arrive at their house at 5am, get the children up and ready for school. I then take them to school and keep the 2 year old during the day. We play, do arts and craft projects, go to the park, go swimming, get lunch and then I lay her down for a nap. While she is sleeping I do laundry, pick up the house, do the dishes. We go and get the other 4 children from school. I make sure they do their homework, get their bath and I prepare them dinner. After dinner I clean the table and to the dishes, I normally leave around 6-7pm. I worked at a hospital in the newborn nursery for a year. I feed, changed, and took vital signs on all the newborns.

I began babysitting when I was 12 years old. Since then I have worked in summer camps for special needs children, daycares, homes, and schools. I have only been an actual Nanny for the past three years. I worked as a nanny for my niece after she was born until she turned 1. I now work for a family in Oxford with 2 girls.

I have been a reliable babysitter since I was 10 years old. My mother was a child development teacher who instilled in me the importance of loving children & providing a safe and secure, caring/learning environment. Even before having children of my own, my first love was caring for children. After graduation from college with honors, I went through a Nanny Placement Agency in Nashville, TN & quickly got my first job caring part-time for a family with a precious 18 month old. I kept him until the family moved away. After moving to Houston, TX with my husband I went thru another placement agency & became a full-time nanny/office manager for a family with two children ages 6 & 8. I managed their oil & gas royalties office all day & then picked up the children & took them to their activities & cooked, cleaned & many times didn't leave until they were in bed. After the mother in this family was diagnosed with a brain tumor, they didn't need a nanny because more family members stepped up to help. I immediately was able to go thru an agency that found a family with one son, age 8, who I cared for longer than any other child. When I was 2 months from having my first child I resigned in order to stay at home with my child. I now have 3 children who are all in elementary school & I miss keeping sweet babies! I'm ready to go back to my first job love!
