Hello, I'm Kelli. I am a 25 year Communications Major, with ALOT of experience as a baby sitter, and about 2 ½ years of nanny experience. I am a very active, fun, loving, energetic, organized, loyal and trustworthy person. I feel that communication is the most important part of any relationship.
I am very athletic...I have played sports my whole life. I played soccer, swim, volleyball, softball...I played tennis and basketball but I wasn’t very good=)...I try everything at least once and after that I decide if it’s for me =)! I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old and transitioned into Nanning when I was 20.
I have watched children of all ages, from new borns to 15 year olds. I have experience in swim lessons and I am CPR, First Aid, Swim Instructor, and Lifeguard Certified. I love children and I love watching them grow. To become an RSP teacher has always been my passion but I have many other career interests too. I love to help people and to try to make a difference in their lives. Children are a wonderful gift from God and to be able to make a difference in their lives is a great thing. I love children and one day I hope to have many.
I am a CHRISTAIN girl and I feel God should always come first. Im not perfect but I always try to make him my number one.
Besides babysitting I have done light housekeeping and I have been a personal assistant to some families! I have scheduled appointments, answered phones, taken children to the doctors or other appointments they might have had, driven children to and from school and to after school events or sports, grocery and clothes shopping, sometimes cooking for family and children and taken family pets for their walks (with or without children), etc. Anything that a Person Assistant might do, I have probably done. I enjoy cooking, im not a professional but most of the time I do know what Im doing=). I am also a trained Swim Instructor. I have given individual, group and private lessons to all ages (3 months-11 yrs. old). I can either teach you or your child how to swim or teach you technique/ strokes. I am also a certified Lifeguard. I was a lifeguard for 3 years.
Over the summer (2007) I was given the opportunity to be the Administrative Assistant/ Assistant Director of a Sports Camp and I loved it. I got to interact with young children from the ages of 4-13 years old and their parents. I feel I got the best of both worlds because some days I was out and about being a full time counselor , other days I was able to be interacting with older adults (parents and supervisors/upper management) but most of the time I was doing both. I feel that interacting with adults that are older than I am benefited me because it helps me not to be shy and I was able to talk to people as an authority figure not just as 20 year old.
I feel that whatever path I decide to take in life it will always have something to do with children or teenagers. There is something about them that just makes you happy! :)
