A little bit about me

My favorite place to be is at the ocean. I like to try new recipes, spend time outdoors, garden and read. I have 3 grown children and two grandchildren. I was born and raised in California. This is where I attended college. Actually, several due to moving to southern California after I got married. My field of study was Early Childhood Education. A month later I was employed at a preschool in Orange, California. At the time, my classroom consisted of (24) three-year-olds. I worked through two pregnancies at this school. Once my eldest graduated to Kindergarten I chose to stay at home full time. In addition to ECEU, I also was intrigued with interior design. Therefore, I enrolled in the University California, Irvines' Extension program. I was able to complete 50% of the program before moving out of state. Our family grew from 4 to 5 in 2000 and our journey in homeschooling continued. Beyond grateful for my family, friendships and health.

A little bit about me

I am a junior at Western Kentucky University pursuing a degree in psychology with a minor in child studies. I have work experience with children of different ages ranging from 3-11. I have worked in a school daycare, as a babysitter, and as a camp counselor. I consider myself to be good with children, and love spending time with them. Because of my school schedule my availability varies each semester, but as of this semester I am available all day sun, mon, wed, fri, and sat, and can work from 5:00pm into the next day if needed on tues and thurs.
