A little bit about me…

I am 49 years old and live in Williamstown, KY. I have 3 grown children ages 22, 26, and 30, and 6 grandchildren aged [phone number hidden], and 2 years old. I love the outdoors, doing crafts, baking, listening to music. I currently babysit my 5 yr. old grandson who is autistic and non-verbal but he will be with his dad when school is out on most days. I am limited with transportation right now, I can babysit in my home or in yours. On days I have my grandson I prefer to be home just because he has a routine and gets stressed easy when it's changed. During the summer I am fully open.

A little bit about me…

I began working with children at a daycare center. I started as an assistant to after-school kids. I helped the children with their homework and just had fun until their parents came. I also floated from room to room, depending on where I was needed-spending most of my time with babies and after schoolers. After graduating HS, I was asked to be the Head Teacher of the Summer Camp program. I was with the kids all day long, so I had to plan the days activites and we went on occasional field trips. In the fall of that year, I was then asked to be an assistant teacher in the 3 year old room. It was tough at first because they were much different than the older kids. They could not do much of anything for themselves- they were early twos turning three later on in the year. That was a great learning experince! I loved to watch and help them grow to become more mature and independant. From putting on their own shoes, potty training and serving themselves at mealtimes-they grew up so much within a year, even a couple months. All was going great, my sister-in-law was moving to Kentucky and referred me to her nanny job(4 children- a 2 and half year old girl, twin 5 year old boys, and a 7 year old girl). I loved it very much, but we felt lead to move to Kentucky as well. For the family I did laundry, light housework, help with homework, and drive twins back and forth to preschool. I am willing to do more duties if needed.
