Hi there!
My name is Amy Ippolito. I am 29 and live in Hawthorne, NJ. I am married and I have a 3 month old little boy. I have worked as a full time nanny for over 10 years caring for children from newborn to 12 years old. I enjoy what I do simply because I love children. I enjoy playing both in doors and outdoors, swimming, skiing, going for walks, going to the beach, watching movies, baking, coloring, doing arts and crafts, etc. I can cook, do laundry, do light house keeping, grocery shopping, run errands, etc. I drive a 2016 Hyundai, Tuscan and I have a very clean driving record. I will provide excellent references, both work and personal with letters of recommendation. I like to fill out a nanny contract with families I work for so that we are always on the same page. I believe that I am a great nanny and I would absolutely care for you children as if they were my own. I hope to hear from many of you soon. Thank you.

When I was 12 years old I use to help out at my church's daycare center afterschool and during my school breaks. I have also taken care of my goddaughter and her sister for a year and only stopped because they moved. I have two younger siblings one of them is 5 years old and the other is 2 month old and I help take care of them as well. I have also babysat many kids since I was 13 years and I love being with children. I also nannied for a milatry family with a 9 year old girl.

I came to the united states 9 years ago. I'm from Ecuador. When I came here I started high school, and also I began taking care of my cousin. I lived with my aunt and her family. I used to pick up my cousin from school, helping her with homework, laundry, get dinner ready and light housekeeping. Later my aunt was able to take of my cousin and I began working with a loving american Italian family. First I helped the grandmother to take care of her 3 beautiful girls for 2 years, later on my boss had a baby boy. From that time on, I Started to work full time, taking care of the 3 little girls and the beautiful baby boy. I worked with them for over 4 years.

I have worked for many families over the past 5 years taking care of children of all kinds of backgrounds and a variety of ages. I have worked with infants in feeding and care to fully grown children up to 15 years of age. I have been responsible for picking them up and taking them to activities, playing with them, creating games and keeping them occupied for many hours at a time. I always look for fun ways of keeping them engaged and so like to do a lot of outdoor and creative activities including dance, music and arts. I have been professionally trained in these areas so it makes it all more fun. I am also a sporty person, so for the older children whether boys or girls, I have always have something to excite them with. I am currently working for a family in Oakland with three children and though they are completely different backgrounds and natures, I teach them many things and play brain teaser games and building excercises to keep their minds occupied. I stop fights with care, never hit, never fight, never raise my voice...its ineffective. Instead I work with children to make them think about what is happening and always relay to the parents whatever is going on. Toddlers are easier as they just need tender care...the older ones I have worked with require attention and great consideration because they are developing rapidly. I enjoy working with kids and I am looking for a position that will pay well as I act as a mother and friend to those with whom I have been placed.
