A little bit about me

I am 20 years old and have 4 younger siblings. From a young age I enjoyed being involved in their care. When I was old enough, I got a job at a summer camp, and have worked in childcare ever since. When I was 16 I started babysitting for several different families, two of which I have babysat for regularly since then! At 17 I got my first nanny job, caring for a sixth grader after school. This included picking him up from school and bringing him home, helping him with homework, driving him to activities, tidying the house, and fixing dinner for him and the family. This job ended after my senior year of high school and I went to Belmont University last year, where I continued babysitting in order to pay bills while in school. Then last summer I got a position as a nanny which lasted from May-October. In this position I was responsible for a 5 year old boy, a 2 year old girl, and an infant. Then I took a short hiatus from full time nannying until one of the families I started babysitting for when I was sixteen had twins in February, at which time I became their full-time nanny while they transitioned from 2 to 4 kids. Now they’re not needing full time care anymore, so I’m starting the search for a new full time job!
To tell you more about me aside from my work experience... I am a Christian and I enjoy singing praise and worship songs, reading scripture, going to Bible studies and corporate worship events, etc. I am in school full time through the University of Memphis online, three semesters out from graduating with a degree in history. I enjoy horseback riding, reading, swimming, and being outdoors in general. I spend a lot of my free time taking long walks, playing board games, watching movies/musicals, and exploring hobbies such as art, crochet, sewing, etc. I always have a new project to work on, as I love learning new skills. I was raised in Tennessee, and hope to start traveling.
Thank you for reading my profile! I can't wait to meet you and your children!
