A little bit about me
My name is Sol and I am 27 years old. Currently, I am living in Kihei looking for full time/part time work in the area. I have experience with children from 8 months - 4 years old. I adapt to the specific needs each child requires with respect to each family I work with. I am always upholding the values of respect and building self-love in my care. I enjoy doing outdoor activities with the children and chaperoning them to fun places.
Depending on the household, I can also do basic housekeeping in the home. For example, washing the dishes, laundry and cleaning the floors.
I am native speaking in Spanish and conversationally fluent in English and Portuguese. If desired I can be a Spanish tutor as well!

A little bit about me
After graduating from college, I spent several years teaching elementary school on Maui, where I developed a deep passion for supporting children’s growth both academically and emotionally. I am currently in the process of applying to law school, and I’m excited to continue working with families in the meantime.
My experience includes working as an au pair for a four-year-old in Spain, as well as long-term babysitting for a wonderful local Maui family with five keiki. I’m also experienced in supporting children with special needs. I pride myself on creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment, and I’m especially skilled at de-escalation and setting clear, loving boundaries.
In my free time, I love to surf, bake, hike, and spend time with friends and family.
I would love the opportunity to support your family and care for your keiki 🌺
