A little bit about me

I have worked at the YCMA at the Urban Plains ELC for the past 7 months with children from 2 months to 6 years old. My job consists of moving between classrooms, providing extra coverage where needed. I help the children through the daily schedule. I serve breakfast, change diapers, serve lunch and snack, prepare and feed bottles, and participate in active play with the children.
I have also been the school age program lead, working with children from kindergarten through 5th grade. For this portion of my job, I served breakfast and engaged with the children until the busses arrived. I would walk the children to the busses and ride with them to school. This past fall, I volunteered for babysitting for a local retreat in Fargo for the weekend. This consisted of children from roughly 6 months to 8 years. Lastly, although not specifically childcare, I volunteered to work vacation bible school in my hometown for a week in the summer for 6 years.
