A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Demetri Malevitsis, I am a Seattle native. Development and working with children has always been a passion of mine.

Currently, I am working as a preschool teacher for a large NAEYC accredited childcare center. By July, I will have a Masters degree in Early Education. Scaffolding play, promoting personal autonomy, and nurturing developmental domains is always a concious part of my practice. Social justice, empathy, and love guide my passion.

I am very excited to get to know your family and children.

Best,
Demetri

"I don’t even know when to start but I will start by saying hiring Laura was the best parenting decision I’ve ever made. Before hiring her,I had no trust in anyone to take care of my son and Laura completely changed that for me. She takes care of him like he’s her child. She took so much initiative in changing the space to make it more baby-friendly, preparing meals for him when he didn’t like what I packed, cutting his nails, etc. AND she also had a curriculum with units and learning targets that were appropriate for his age such as animals, colors, etc. She keeps a plan book with units and activities. She always went above and beyond with art projects for holidays. She was with us 5x a week, full days, with two other kids. The way she manages 3 kids is incredible. I never had to worry about my son. She kept a notebook with notes on the kids (eating, sleeping, etc) and would always flood our phones with photos (which I loved)! She is a loving and hard working nanny. Hire her!"

A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is, Carolina. I’m first generation American, so there are times where my Nicaraguan side kicks in, I start to cook & feed, feed, feed every one!! My favorite thing of all time, is capturing moments through my camera! I was born and raised in a daycare that my mother and aunt owned for as long as I can remember. In high school I got my very first CPR and First Aid Certificates and started a baby sitting gig all on my own. I would set 30 minutes aside during the sit to teach them Spanish.
Any who,
I moved to San Diego after high school and began to work with individual families as a Spanish Tutor, toddlers & high school students. I decided it was time to move back home, so we moved here and I went to work as a loan clerk for 6 years. We decided we were ready for a family, fast forward to 2021… I’m a mother of a 6, 4, & 1 year old and my husband is a busy Iron worker. I’m looking to nanny, while still having my kids with me!
