A little bit about me
My name is Ella Peter and I am a graduate student at University of Washington getting my Masters in Educational Speech Pathology. I've been in child care for 8 years now and have enjoyed all the amazing relationships I've been able to create with the children I've encountered. A little bit about myself is that I grew up in San Diego in a very active family of 5 and love everything outdoors! I have previous experience at the Santa Barbara RiteCare Language Center for children, ski instructor for all ages, nannying for families with kids from 11 months to 15 years old. I can send references if you'd like to speak with my previous employers!

A little bit about me
I have a strong background in early childhood education and have worked in alignment with Washington State DCYF standards throughout my career. I’m CPR certified, STARS trained, and have additional training in child safety, including elopement prevention and response. Safety is always a top priority for me, especially with little ones. I like to keep a structure to the day while still following the children's needs. We spend time outdoors, do age-appropriate activities, and work on building independence, and emotional regulation. I'm happy working on a Montessori approach as well!
I’m reliable, communicative, and very consistent.
I’m currently working with a wonderful family I’ve been with for nearly 2 years and am open to creating a nanny share. This can be a great option for families looking for high-quality care with a social element for their child.
