A little bit about us
Easton is 18 months old & we recently tried daycare.. it did not go well! We are now looking to find someone to help with his care for 5-7 hours a day, Monday through Friday. We are thinking that the hours would be 8 am - 1 pm or 8 am - 3 pm, however, we are open to some flexibility with the hours.
The job would include entertaining Easton throughout the day (including potentially taking him places, so a reliable car & clean driving record are necessary), feeding him lunch, light housekeeping (just cleaning up from whatever he’s gotten into throughout the day), giving him baths, and laying him down for a nap.
Easton is a sweet baby who is all boy & loves to run around and play. He loves to dance, loves music & singing, & he loves to eat! He has never been cared for by anyone other than me or my mom/MIL, which is why we think daycare did not go well.
We also have two other children - a daughter who is 8 and a son who is 14. If the hours worked are 8-1, you would not see them. If hours are different, our 14 year old requires no care… our daughter might require help with homework.
We also have a dog (white lab). He’s very sweet, but does live indoors so would need to be comfortable with animals. If you have your own child who stays home, you are welcome to bring them with you while you are here! Easton would love to have a friend to play with during the day.

Interviewing for a Housekeeper Nanny Position in Birmingham, AL
After talking to a few employers, you’ll be invited for a housekeeping nanny job interview. Here are a few housekeeping nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What qualities do you have that make you a good housekeeping nanny?
- What do you enjoy about looking after a home?
- How many years of experience do you have with house cleaning?
In a housekeeping nanny job interview, you’ll have the opportunity to provide your nanny references and ask any questions that you would like to know about them.
