I’m a dedicated nurse and parent seeking a reliable, caring, and flexible nanny to help care for my child during my rotating work schedule. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is available for a mix of early mornings, afternoons/evenings, and occasional overnight stays.
Schedule Needs:
Early Mornings: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Afternoons/Evenings: 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Overnight Shifts: 6:00 PM – 8:00 AM (next day)
Schedule varies due to rotating shifts – flexibility is a must.
Compensation:
$20/hour for before and after school care
$150 per night for overnight shifts
Ideal Candidate:
Dependable and punctual
Experienced with children
Comfortable with flexible/rotating hours
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)

Our family of 3 live in beautiful Victoria BC, located on Vancouver Island. We specifically live in a home located in Langford. We are surrounded by a beautiful view of the Olympic Mountains and greenery. We are located about 25 mins by car from downtown Victoria.
We would need someone approximately 25-30 hours a week, with option of live in.
Duties would include feeding, diaper changes, baths, and light kitchen duty (bottle washing, etc.)

We are both working professionals in Finance and Social Work, and I will be retuning to work August 2024 from maternity leave. We are looking for a part time Nanny (M/F or M/W/F) while grandparents will be caring for our son on the off days.
We are looking for someone who is:
-creative, bubbly, nurturing and responsible
-experienced in caring for toddlers
-willing to play outside rain or shine
-attend activities (strong start, swimming, kindergym etc)
-engage in home activities (baking, play with toys, crafts etc.)
-light housekeeping if able but not a priority
-genuinely care for our son
First aid, vulnerable sector check, and references required. We also have a 16 pound fur baby, so being comfortable with dogs is required.
