During the day - light housework and laundry. Clean and maintain all areas where boys would be, rooms, play areas.
Afternoon school pick up. Prepare snacks, dinner, evening routine until parents get home. 2 in elementary school, 1 in Montessori school during the days. Be great to have someone who drives.
Monday to Friday (4 days per week) with either a Monday or Friday off. Always a long weekend. 48hrs per week - salaried position. So you know your income every week regardless of us being away.

We are looking for a reliable, caring nanny to help care for our toddler. The position requires flexibility, as we split our time between Toronto, our cottage, and Mexico. The nanny must be comfortable working flexible hours, travelling to the cottage for a few weeks at a time, returning to Toronto for city work, and later travelling with us in winter Mexico for a few months before returning to Toronto. Duties include childcare, meals, naps, playtime, child laundry, light tidying, and helping with daily routines. Must have toddler experience, strong references, and be comfortable with travel. CPR/First Aid and police check preferred. ( work week 5 days)

Location: Toronto (Yorkville/Annex), Muskoka (rarely)
Overall care, safety and well-being of two children (currently aged 6 and 9) of the Employer or the Employer’s Family, as may be assigned;
Provide a nurturing environment that cultivates interests, manners and emotional support;
The Private Chef will complete meal preparation for the children and you will assist with the completion of meals and help cultivate good table manners;
Preparation of snacks;
Both hands on and supervision of bathing of the children;
Arranging, accompanying and organizing/hosting playdates;
Organize various leisure activities that promote physical fitness and stimulate the mind. This would include swimming and water-related activities;
On occasion, caring for the children in the evening hours if the parents are not at home or are having an event at the home;
Coordinating the start and end of the day including wakeup, dressing, bathing and getting ready for bed (e.g. brushing teeth, winding down, etc.);
Driving children to programs as well as running occasional errands as may be designated, using a household vehicle;
Taking the children to appointments, programs and activities;
Housekeeping of children’s play areas and bedrooms;
Children’s laundry and bedding as required;
Travel with the family to cottage, other family homes and various international destinations. Comfortable accommodations are provided;
The working spirit of the home is one of mutual and collaborative support when needed;
Handling special requests and related duties as required from time to time;
Any other duties as stated by the principles or their Estate Manager.
Role Requirements:
- Female.
- Previous nanny experience in a household mandatory.
- Must be able to swim.
- Drivers license in good standing is mandatory.
- Fluent in English language.
