A little bit about us
We are a close-knit household consisting of two sisters and a grandmother.
We live in Darien, CT, in a family-friendly neighborhood ideal for walks and outdoor activities
By September, we will have three children: a newborn (4 months), a 2-year-old, and a 4-year-old
One sister works remote multiple days a week and the other sister is a physician with a dynamic schedule that may occasionally require flexibility
We value kindness, communication, and creating a calm, supportive home environment.
Approximately 36–40 hours per week
Standard schedule: Monday–Thursday (8-hour days), Friday (4-hour day)
Occasional evening or weekend support may be requested (with advance notice and additional pay)
We primarily use three cars for commuting to work. So, we need someone with a safe, clean, and reliable car to transport our daughter as needed. We will provide a car seat.
Provide attentive, nurturing, and appropriate care for all three children
Toddlers are in school from 9am-12pm and nanny will need to help pick them up from school
Manage daily routines including feeding, naps, playtime, and age-appropriate activities
Support early childhood development through reading, play, outdoor time, and structured activities
Safely manage outings and local activities as appropriate
Maintain organization of children’s spaces (nursery, playroom, etc.)
Perform child-related household tasks (children’s laundry, bottle washing, meal prep)
Communicate regularly with family members regarding schedules, updates, and any concerns
