A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny for our 3-year-old son and 16-month-old daughter. We also have a 10-year-old lab/hound rescue dog as well.

We'd be looking for someone available ideally 2 days per week (preferably M, W, or F) with 10am-6pm approximate times, but can definitely be flexible!

With this support, I'm hoping to be able to accomplish household things, run errands, and pick up work hours myself (I generally WFH in the basement or a local library).

Expectations would just be to provide a safe, caring, fun environment for the kids. Following our kids' routines, playing together, reading, going outside. We don't do screens during the day, so it really is just engaging them in lots of imaginative play and activities. If you like dogs and like going for walks, that's always nice for them too.

We're really hoping to find someone kind, patient, knowledgeable about kids and their development, and someone who can become like family. Ideally, we're hoping for at least a 1-2 year commitment, as turnover is so hard on the kids!

Happy to answer any questions! Thank you for reading!

The job would entail picking them up from preschool, bringing them back to our apartment for snacks, naps, and quiet play. Our youngest typically naps until 4:30/5pm, so it would be a pretty easy gig!
