We are looking for a caring, kind, energetic part-time Nanny for help with school drop off, pick ups and getting to activities for our two kids three days per week, Wednesday through Friday. We have a four year old son and a six-year-old daughter. Our son goes to preschool and our daughter will be starting kindergarten at a different school.
Help is needed consistently from 2pm - 6pm W-F. If morning drop off help is needed, it would be one hour from 7-8am, also W-F. The morning schedule is subject to change based on our work schedules, so not all mornings are needed and schedules will be provided weeks (if not months) in advance. My husband and I are both physicians, so we need someone responsible and reliable especially when we are both on call or have early mornings when we have to be at the hospital.
As the job entails driving, a clean background check is a must, and car seats will be provided if needed. Job responsibilities also include entertaining and engaging our kids on days when they do not have activities until we come home from work. They love to be outside as much as possible, as well as reading, crafting and playing games. There may occasionally also be some light meal prep involved to start dinner, or help with housework, such as putting in a load of laundry. We do have an indoor cat who is very friendly, likes to be around people, does not require any care, but of course we want to ensure that allergies would not be an issue. We will guarantee 15 hours a week starting at $20/hr. We are looking for someone to start this school year, ideally by the week of Sept 14.
