A little bit about us
The role centers on three high-need windows: mornings (school prep), after school/dinner, and bedtime. During school hours, responsibilities shift to light housework — tidying common areas and kids rooms, occasional meal prep for kids, dishes, etc.
Andrew (11) has more significant support needs. He's verbal but has expressive and receptive language challenges, so clear, simple communication works best. He's generally easy going and self-engaging, but can become frustrated when he's left waiting for the next thing coming on schedule too long, or struggling to communicate. Andrew is a sweet and trusting boy, who has very simple interests like walking in the backyard, swings, and aimlessly hanging around grown ups. He will be home schooled this year, and staying around his teacher those hours.
Generally, he needs hands-on help with daily self-care but has the potential to build more independence with the right coaching, which we hope to achieve with group effort.
Victoria (7) has moderate support needs with a big personality. She can be funny, creative, and engaging — and she can also be strong-willed, quick to frustrate, and prone to dramatic meltdowns. She responds much better to humor and playfulness than to rigidity or confrontation. The right approach with her makes a huge difference. She is very curious and likes to explore arounds, inside cabinets, drawers, mixing stuff, and drawing. She needs more surveillance to keep her out of getting into all things.
All work around the kids will start as assistance to parents with the goal to build strong rapport and bonds that would progress into confidence and independent decision making based on kids' needs.

A little bit about us
I will pay extra to help with house work. I need at least one child picked up and dropped off.
I have a 2 year old Ronan who is such a sweet boy, but a little bit of a wild card, he doesn't need to be anywhere yet, but he is especially clingy with me in the mornings, and it makes it hard to get anything done with my older children. Eloise is almost 5 years old, she loves school and wants to be the best at everything, she loves school so getting her there is easy, however My oldest Apollo, 8 years old, does not like school, and we have difficulties getting him there on time everyday and I'm desperately looking for help! On many occasions he has turned off our alarms so he can play Xbox in the morning. I have taken this away, so getting him on his bus, that picks him up at 8:25am, he also has the option to get to school at 8am for computer lab, so if I had help I might be able to make this a possibility. I love my children, they are all so unique and beautiful inside and out, I just need a little help getting these free spirits rallied in the mornings.
