Active and fun-loving family looking for a part-time nanny for our two children. A is 4 years old, very energetic, loves being read to, jumping off of high things, and painting her nails. E is 2 and loves trying to do everything his sister is doing, speed reading, anything water-related, and stacking random objects. We are two involved work-from-home parents but need help ensuring our kids get to play and learn during the work day and help with household chores (laundry fold and away, toy and kitchen cleanup). You are energetic, fun, engaging, and a strong communicator. You are willing to follow a daily routine, get outside as much as possible, read books, prepare and serve lunch and snacks, perform light housekeeping (toy pickup, kitchen cleanup, laundry fold and put away), change diapers, help A with bathroom, and identify and engage with evolving needs/interests of A and E. We will work with you to set your schedule which for now must meet these minimum requirements: ~20 hours week, availability on Fridays from 10A-4P, other hours will be weekdays within hours of 10A-6P. We would love a long-term nanny, but school year help is great, too! We are a Non-smoking, no pet household. Please be Covid vaccinated and boosted or willing to obtain.

Monday through Friday 9am-5pm ish with shorter Friday hours most weeks. Occasional preschool drop off (T/Th mornings). We love getting the kids outside to play so a car would be provided to go on adventures to the zoo, park, beach etc. I'm currently pregnant with our third child due in June and we're looking at options for care starting in January after both parents take parental leave. We are a Montessori/forest school type family where the kids learn by doing and exploring. They love making pizza and bread from scratch, helping with meal prep or scrambling eggs. They love to pick fruit and vegetables from the garden, get muddy and play outside in all weather. We hope to raise kind and caring kids and practice gentle parenting (not to be confused with permissive parenting) we are gentle but firm. We provide PTO and food while you're working. We have a large dog and a cat that the kids help to let out and feed. Lyra loves gymnastics, horseback riding, swimming and anything rainbow, pink, unicorn or mermaid themed. She also loves going on hikes and doing anything outside. Leo loves soccer, swimming and puppies and is currently obsessed with blaze and the monster machines.
