My daughter is non verbal and receives therapy in home, ABA. She is Autistic. She is sweet, and has a lot of sensory need. Currently I am a single parent and live with my partner, but we both work until late evenings. I am a Social Worker, and the nature of my job may have extended days once in a while. I work in Staten Island, so I am only approximately 20 minutes from home if need be.
I am looking for someone patient, understanding, trustworthy. If we move forward I will require at least ONE reference to call and speak to regarding your past experience.
There is a cat in the home.
I would need someone from 7:45am to approximately 5:45pm-6pm. Please contact me if interested.

About us…
We are located on Staten Island and have a 1-year old child. (Please note that we are not by the ferry, we are near the Verrazano Bridge and therefore you’d need a car to get to us!)
We are looking for a kind and attentive caregiver to watch our child while we’re at work. We are a multilingual family and appreciate a caregiver who also speaks another language other than English. We are looking for a nanny 5 days a week (8 am to 5 pm - let’s discuss hours!)
About our toddler…
Our child is very independent and enjoys social activities. They take 1-2 naps a day, eat 3 meals, and have snacks during the day. They enjoy walks outside and listening to music.
Managing developmentally appropriate playtime, taking them for a walk in their stroller, meal planning, putting them down for naps, and changing diapers would be part of their care. Optionally, light tidying after them when they play and doing their laundry (if necessary) would be great as well!
