A little bit about us

We are an easy-going family with two sweet little boys who are in need of a nanny. Levi (4) and Asher (2) are very sociable and inquisitive and enjoy playing outside, reading books, and other fun. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac with 5.5 acres that back up to a state park so there are lots of places to have fun outside. We also have an older son who will be in second grade next year. Our current nanny of two years is moving away and getting married so we are looking for someone to start at the end of August. I work as a high school Spanish teacher every other day so one week would be Tuesday, Thursday and the next would be Monday, Wednesday, Friday (7-3:30). Occasionally you might have to work an additional day if I have professional development but that is not frequent. All BCPS holidays would be off. My husband works for HCPS from home in his upstairs office room and occasionally at the actual office. We previously paid a monthly salary so you would be paid the same on months with fewer work days like Spring Break, Winter break months. Duties would include dropping off/picking up the 4 year old at a local Lutheran pre-school on the Monday, Wednesday, Friday week. Helping the boys clean up their toys would also be a plus at the end of the day. Please let me know if you are interested!

A little bit about us

Hi nannies! Our family is looking for a full-time, experienced SUMMER caregiver for our family. Ideally we would love to find someone 8:30am - 4:30pm from Memorial Day - August 31. Although we have four children, the job does not entail watching all four full-time and is primarily to support us with our youngest two, currently ages three and almost five. Our older two are in summer camps for about 6 weeks over the summer.

A little more about us: Katherine is 8 years old and currently in 2nd grade. She loves arts and crafts, dance, dolls, and anything creative! She is a little mother at heart and a wonderful big sister. Jack is six and adores Legos, dinosaurs, and anything technical. He is in 1st grade. Henry is our spunky, energetic 4-year-old. He loves sports, friends, balloons, making people laugh, and books. He will attend kindergarten in the fall. Abigail is our 3-year-old and our family’s littlest. She tries desperately to keep up with all of her older siblings and is a total chatterbox. She loves babies, cooking, and playing outside.

We are looking for someone to help us over the summer when schools and preschools are out of session. We are looking for someone who is experienced watching multiple children, organized, patient, caring, flexible, dependable, and fun. We’d love some help with camp dropoff, meal prep (lunches), children’s laundry, as well as tidying and organizing toys as the days allow. It’s also important to us to find someone who is skilled at developing and maintaining structure and routines.

We are incredibly respectful, flexible, loving, fair, and generous. We will treat you as part of our family and do whatever we can to support you in this important role. We are ideally looking to establish an ongoing relationship with someone (we’d love to find someone who can help this summer and then for an occasional date night moving forward!). We offer paid time off, paid holidays, and more!
