I also have three wonderful grandchildren two girls (4 and 9) and one boy (age 5) Upon my daughter graduating from college, she secured a job 1000 miles away, in Miami Florida. However, I fly to see them or fly them in to see me several times a year and for most of the summer.
I also have 4 other children who call me “Granny” and I see them as my own. They are children of friends my daughter grew up with.
I love children, they have always seemed to gravitate towards and enjoy me. I think because I’m a big kid at heart myself 😊 I love to teach them and watch them grow.
Previously I was a CASA volunteer in Louisville, KY. For abused and neglected children. I am also a certified professional rescuer which includes infant and child CPR. I also cared for elderly and disabled off and on for 22 years.
