A little bit about us

Single mom looking for a part time nanny to assist with my 8 month old daughter in my home. I am preparing to have construction done on the house in the next few months and need a hand with my daughter while I prepare the house, run errands, attend appointments and sometimes a chance to take an uninterrupted nap or shower without it ending both my daughter and myself crying. Lol

The main priority of the caregiver is to entertain, comfort, feed, nap, and change her, but minimal cleaning of the house will be needed for upkeep and function. (Just cleaning up after whatever is used during shift and resetting of toys, you will not be expected to maintain my household)
I will always be an available resource for her if needed but will be attempting to get as much done as possible.

My daughter has a large play pen to crawl around and play with toys, jumper, walker, rocker etc. the house is set up for general daily functions and specifically her enjoyment and function but may not be suitable for another child as house will be moved around often and space is limited. willing to discuss.

Flexible schedule. 3 days a week, weekdays. Anywhere between 5-8 hrs a day earliest start being 9am and latest end being 7pm.

-Possibly an evening here and there to have a mommy’s night out, not often nor required but definitely a plus.

Position will be considered temporary, as we will have to relocate during the additions, but would love to resume a permanent schedule when we are back in the house.

Please note:
Construction in master & eventually addition to living room to be expected in the next few months. Renovation of kitchen & bathroom to come after addition. Some renovations have begun & my king bed has now been moved into the nursery. Her room & rest of the house will always be set up for her needs and your comfort. My priority will always be to maintain the house and provide a functional space for her, you, and me.

One hypo-allergenic dog in house.

A little bit about us

Hi! I’m looking for a Part time Nanny for my 3 month old baby girl. She is really starting to get active and I could use some help keeping her entertained while I work! I work from home but could use the extra help so I can get some work done. The responsibilities I’d be looking for would be feedings, diaper changes and keeping her entertained with developmental toys. As well as baby laundry and bottle and pump part cleaning. I am looking for help on Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am-3pm.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Dunnellon, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Dunnellon, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Dunnellon, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
